A new gas range, dryer, or water heater sitting in your home unconnected is frustrating. You need it running, but the gas line work has to be done right or you risk leaks, carbon monoxide buildup, or a failed inspection. Gas line work requires a licensed plumber in Florida. A bad connection can leak carbon monoxide or cause a fire, and your homeowner's insurance will not cover damage from unlicensed gas work. It is not worth the risk to save a service call.
